It's official, March For Missions 2012 will be held on March 24, 2012 at Sawmill Park in The Woodlands, Texas. The 5th annual Walk/Run will be lots of fun for the whole family as children, teens, and adults gather to walk or run the 10K course to raise awareness and funds for world missions.

Our success depends on the number of quality team leaders we recruit between now and the walk. All it takes is someone who is willing to recruit 10 friends to walk on their team and help raise money through sponsorship. The average young adult in the rural village grows up without any sort of leadership training either in the public school system or through the local church.  Often that is because most pastors and teachers in the rural villages were also never trained in leadership.  Because of this lack of training the average church is not equipped with leaders needed to take the church to the next level.  At Project Samuel we are working to bring the leadership training to these churches so that they can begin to grow and handle growth in a positive way.

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:18-20

Did you know that we were created to enjoy God? God isn’t some dictator who is so full of Himself that He insists that we follow Him simply because He gets a kick out of it.
